This pattern was inspired by my host for the two weeks I was evacuated from the Bootleg Fire of 2021!

Crocheted to order, these shawls work up in a bit over 34 hours. They are 100% wool by default, but I am willing to work with any natural fiber! (In the images above, the red/grey shawl is 100% cotton and the Ace flag shawl is 100% wool) Some fiber types may result in an additional fee due to material costs, please send me a message prior to ordering if you would like a different fiber type to be used.

These shawls can be knit as a solid color, striped, *Pride flavored, or with multicolored yarns. Color selection is your choice or rescue dog choice.

If you prefer colors chosen with your own sensibilities in mind, please mention the colors (or a base color if you wish for a multicolored yarn to be used) in the notes to seller section during checkout, or send me your order number and color selection via the contact form for this shop after you have made your purchase. Then keep an eye on your inbox so we can finalize color selections before I place yarn orders!

STRIPED Pride flags are an option! I don't think I'd be able to easily work symbols into this pattern. You must send me a link to or an image of the flag you want to be used, as there are several different flags for many orientations- for example, there are at least seven different variations of the rainbow flag currently in use that I am aware of. If you are interested in this option to show support or as a gift and you aren't sure of which flag to use, please feel free to message me prior to placing your order!
